Wow wow wow!!! The food is great!!! The staff was helpful. The fusion of several cultures is awesome. This is basically a Caribbean/African chipotle or Cava but WAYYYY better!
Loved the vibe and the food hit the spot! The flavors were well-balanced, portions generous, and the staff attentive. You can tell the chefs take pride in their craft 😋 Exactly what Pawtucket needed.
Portions are so good. Well worth it. The steak bowl was delicious. My husband had the shrimp and steak, next time he will get extra sauce because it was so good. Ill have some more for dinner and I am able to take some for my lunch tomorrow. I put mine in small wraps after too.
You can smell it before you even get inside! The staff was kind and patient. I had a big order. The food is amazing. I cant say enough. Cooked to perfection, seasoned perfectly. The price is great but the price to portion is really great. The vegetable rice was delicious. French fries were so crispy!! My favorite kind of fry, covered in crispness. There is a variety of sauces to choose from. Chicken wings were also nice and crispy. The jollof rice was flavorful!! I can not wait to go back. Great job.
Aunties House Restaurant has vibe of welcoming staff, excellent quality service and a variety of delicious food. My first but not my last visit. I purchased oxtails with gravy, fried rice, a little spicy with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers topped with avocado sauce. Quality food reasonably priced. Dine in and order to go. Use Uber eats if you don't feel like going out.
You’ll know I am nosy. If you didn't know, and before you branded me...It's about food, lol. Now you do. When everyone around me is carrying and eating from white bags of food in substantive boxes saying "Auntie's House". I had to inquire and do my own taste test. If you like the bold savory of seasoned spice, jalapeño hot and peppery makes every spice lover excited. Some say Chipotle; I say "Auntie's." You get real home-cooked food from the Caribbean rice & peas, West African Jallof rice, etc. Love vibrant-looking green, purple, pink finely cut pieces of salad for which I add raisins & cranberries and how everything tastes fresh. The avocado sauce did not taste right to me. I would have liked a slice of avocado in my salad. My favorite meal vegetable fried rice plain with shrimps and jerk sauce on top, not the asian version of shrimp fried rice, for my vegan friends tried with plantains. another best meal is their spice right Jallof rice first time trying. Custom choice meal is the way to go... No surprise! Just home-cook meals with love.
I don’t think I have the right words but MMMM!!! So good.!The flavors are out of this world everything is so fresh. The chicken is tender and juicy. The shrimp was amazing .Veggies were fresh and crunchy. I recommended them to 5 people before I even finished my lunch and will recommend to anyone. You definitely will not be disappointed the price is perfect for the amount of food they give you. Will be back at least once a week. Aunties house gained a regular with their amazing food. Yummy!!
Amazingly delicious food spot! Staff is really friendly. My go to is the rice bowl and they are extremely generous with the portions. I usually only eat half or less and eat the rest for dinner. Their sauces are really good too, I usually get the spicy mayo, garlic sauce and avocado sauce. If you’re not into a strong garlic flavor, then the garlic sauce may not be for you, but I love it and its strong flavor. The place is super clean and has several tables and chairs for dine in. Definitely will be returning!

I picked up a plate from Auntie's House, and it did not disappoint. The meal included rice, well-seasoned chicken, corn, lettuce, tomato, onions, and jalapeños, along with a side of sweet plantains. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. The portion was generous, and at $18, it felt like a great deal. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the plantains were sweet and tender, and the whole plate was satisfying without being heavy. The ambiance was nice, with good music in the background. The tables are clean, so I have no complaints. I would definitely order again.
